On the 21st of June "ABS-award" ceremony (international award commitment in the field of science fiction and fantasy literature in the name of Strugatskiy brothers) took place in The Center of Contemporary Literature.

The winners of this year are as follows:

  • In the fiction nomination - Dmiriy Bykov with "JD" novel.
  • In the criticism nomination – Alexey Pervushin with the article "Occupation of Mars. Chronicles of the Great Confrontation"
  • Through many years WorkLine Group appears as partner of ABS-awards.

    The head of the department of B2B-marketing Daria Ivanova performed as a speaker at the scientific seminar "Supply chain management in Russian Companies" initiated by The High School of Management of The St Petersburg State University. The topic of her speech was "Forming of loyalty on the B2B market".

    The speech has evoked wide resonance and appreciation of the audience.

    The celebration of the Official Anniversary of The Queen Elizabeth II took place in the General Consulate of Great Britain in St Petersburg. Members of the Department of the International Affairs presented their compliments to the consul as the active participants of the development of the business connections between Russia and Great Britain.

    Maria Arestova, research director of WorkLine Research appeared as a speaker during the VII All-Russian Conference "Marketing and Research-2008: Use of research for business solutions" initiated by the Grebennikov publishing house on The 1st of June.

    The topic of Maria’s speech was "Conception test with the usage of the 5 Level Positioning Technology".

    According to Maria’s statement conception is the complex of the product’s identities which are important for potential customer. Such identities define unique advantages of the product and allow winning the appropriate market position.

    During their research activity experts from the WorkLine Research have defined that one can divide to 5 independent levels the whole complex of characteristics evoked in the mind of customers by the majority of products. Those are attributive, rational, functional, emotional and value levels. 5LP is a technology of positioning through the building of the actual according to all 5 levels brand profile.

    I Marketing Forum "Modern Marketing Technologies on Company’s Duty"

    I Marketing Forum took place in St. Petersburg on the 10th of April. It was organized by the WorkLine Group, Russo-British chamber of Commerce with the help of Impulse Company. Leading specialists in the field of marketing were gathered under the roof of Grand Hotel Europe in order to discuss problems, achievements and actual trends in the marketing management, share the experience.

    Forum happened to the first even in St. Petersburg dedicated mostly to the question of marketing not to the problems of advertising or public relations as it was so far. That kind of "new" format has brought additional attention from the practicing marketing managers. That allowed initiators to gather wide audience of representatives of the leading consulting and production companies from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

    A new event for the retailers Retail Forum took place on 20th February 2007 in the Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg/ It was organized with the participation pf the WorkLine Group.

    Among main topics of the forum were general trends of retail development and marketing and sales technologies. 180 representatives of Russian and foreign companies took part in the convent.

    The speech of Maria Arestova, research director of our company attracted a lot of attention from the audience. It was dedicated to the problem of perception by consumers of Moscow and St Petersburg retail chains. Maria presented main trends of the retail market development according to RIT-Food research conducted in 2006-2007.
